FAQ'S

What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model that provides patients with comprehensive, personalized medical care for a flat monthly or annual fee. DPC clinics focus on building strong relationships between patients and physicians, with a focus on prevention, wellness, and continuity of care.

What services do you offer?

Our Direct Primary Care membership at We The People Health and Wellness Center covers a wide range of services tailored to your needs. We offer both adult and pediatric primary care services, addressing your health concerns comprehensively. Additionally, as a valued DPC member, you'll enjoy a 20% discount on all of our services except medical weight loss. This includes benefits such as patient advocacy, IV therapy, Intramuscular (IM) injections, and innovative Red Light Therapy. We also offer telemedicine consultations and 24/7 access to a physician.

What are the advantages of Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care offers many advantages over traditional healthcare, including lower costs, personalized care, easier access to physicians, and more time spent with patients. By focusing on preventive care and wellness, DPC clinics can help patients achieve better health outcomes and improve their overall quality of life.

Do you accept insurance or medicare/medicaid?

Our clinic does not accept insurance, medicare or medicaid. Instead, we offer a flat monthly or annual fee for our services. This allows us to provide more personalized care and spend more time with our patients, without the constraints of insurance regulations and paperwork.

Although your membership fee will cover the vast majority of your primary care needs, we recommend that you and your family maintain a medical insurance policy to cover those fees not included in your membership (such as hospitalizations, services provided by specialists, diagnostic testing and prescription drugs).

Can I use my health insurance to pay for lab tests or other services?

Direct Primary Care offers many advantages over traditional healthcare, including lower costs and cash price contracts with labs and imaging center and more. If you do have insurance, you should be able to use that for labs and for prescriptions, however, we cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover these costs.

How much does it cost to enroll in your clinic?

Our membership fees vary depending on the level of service you require. We offer a range of membership plans to suit your needs and budget. Please contact us for more information on our pricing or visit our pediatric or adult webpage.

We require a New Patient Registration fee $150 to get started. We also offer a discount for family plans.

How do I enroll in your clinic?

Enrolling in our center is easy. Simply contact us to schedule a consultation with one of our membership specialists. We will discuss your healthcare needs and recommend a membership plan that is right for you. Once you have chosen a plan, we will help you complete the enrollment process.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. We do not require long-term commitments. However, we do recommend that you give us at least 90 days' notice so that we can make any necessary arrangements. However, the requirement is to provide us with a 30 day written notice. There is more detailed information available in our agreement and by talking to our membership consultants.

How does the membership pricing work?

Our membership pricing is designed to be transparent and affordable. We offer different membership tiers based on age, ensuring that both adults and children receive the care they need. Your membership fee covers primary care services and grants you access to the additional services we offer, with the added benefit of discounts on most services.
